Saints' Kamara to miss 2nd straight game due to knee injury
New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a knee injury, the team announced Friday.
He missed the Saints' 23-21 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 10 as well.
New Orleans will also be without starting offensive tackles Ryan Ramczyk and Terron Armstead on Sunday.
Kamara was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice but didn't take part in subsequent sessions later in the week.
Running back Mark Ingram will be featured once again with Kamara sidelined. The 31-year-old veteran rushed for 47 yards on 14 carries last weekend and became the Saints' all-time leading rusher. Dwayne Washington will serve as Ingram's backup.
New Orleans could be limited by its options in the backfield due to injury. Along with Kamara, receiver Ty Montgomery is also out with a hand injury and quarterback Taysom Hill is listed as questionable.
The Saints will try to end their two-game losing skid against an Eagles defense that is allowing 117 rushing yards per game, ranking 20th in the NFL.
