Lamb to miss Thanksgiving game vs. Raiders
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb won't play Thursday against the Las Vegas Raiders due to a concussion, the team announced.
Dak Prescott will now be without his top two receivers, as Amari Cooper remains on the COVID-19 list after testing positive. Cooper also missed the Week 11 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs while on the reserve group.
There was optimism during the week that Lamb, who has emerged as Dallas' most productive wideout this season, would pass the NFL's concussion protocol in time to play on Thanksgiving.
The sophomore leads the Cowboys in receiving yards (740), catches (50), and receiving touchdowns (six).
Michael Gallup, Noah Brown, and Cedrick Wilson will lead Dallas' receiving group. Tight end Dalton Schultz is also likely to take on a more prominent role.
