Taysom Hill will start at quarterback for the New Orleans Saints in their Thursday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, sources tell ESPN's Mike Triplett.
Hill took first-team reps in Wednesday's practice, and New Orleans has removed him from its injury report. The 31-year-old has missed the last two games with a foot injury.
Saints head coach Sean Payton said Tuesday that the team wanted to see how Hill's foot responded to Wednesday's activities before announcing a starter.
Trevor Siemian has filled in since Nov. 14 with Hill and starting quarterback Jameis Winston both sidelined, throwing for 377 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions in a pair of losses.
