The Tennessee Titans ruled out Julio Jones from Sunday's game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers after the wide receiver suffered his third hamstring injury of the season, the team announced.

The seven-time Pro Bowler drew one target before exiting.

Jones missed time with a Grade 2 hamstring strain on two separate occasions earlier in the season. He sat out a pair of games after the first injury in Week 3, then missed three contests while on injured reserve after aggravating his hamstring in Week 9.

Jones returned to the lineup in Week 14 and caught four passes for 33 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He won't be eligible to play again this season if he lands on injured reserve for a second time.

The 32-year-old has dealt with hamstring problems since the beginning of the 2020 season when he played for the Atlanta Falcons. He missed nine games a year ago while nursing the hamstring.

The Titans acquired Jones in an offseason trade but are still waiting for him to catch his first touchdown.
