Chargers send Bosa, Ekeler, Linsley to COVID-19 list
Los Angeles Chargers edge rusher Joey Bosa is on the COVID-19 list and will miss Week 16 against the Houston Texans, head coach Brandon Staley said Monday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Staley added that running back Austin Ekeler and center Corey Linsley are also on reserve but are day-to-day.
Bosa spent time on the COVID-19 list in mid-November after being a close contact of someone who tested positive, but he returned without missing a game. The 26-year-old has 9.5 sacks over 14 appearances this season.
Ekeler has scored a touchdown in all three games the Chargers have played in December and has rushed for 789 yards on the season. Linsley was an All-Pro for the Green Bay Packers in 2020 and has solidified the middle of the Bolts' offensive line in his first year with the team.
The 8-6 Chargers are battling for an AFC wild card with three games left in the regular season.
