Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season due to a foot injury, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
The Buccaneers are hopeful that David will be ready for the postseason, Stroud adds.
David tallied 97 tackles, five tackles for loss, and two sacks in 12 contests this season.
With the former All-Pro on the mend, Tampa Bay will likely lean heavily on Devin White in his absence. Kevin Minter, K.J. Britt, and Grant Stuard could see more snaps as well in the Bucs' final three regular-season contests.
The Buccaneers will also reportedly be without running back Leonard Fournette, who is expected to be placed on injured reserve with a hamstring ailment.
