The Tampa Bay Buccaneers expect wide receiver Mike Evans to play against the New York Jets in a limited capacity due to a hamstring injury, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Buccaneers listed Evans as questionable on the injury report. The 28-year-old missed Week 16 and played only 17 snaps the previous week before leaving versus the New Orleans Saints.
Evans enters the penultimate week of the regular season with 899 yards and 11 touchdowns. He needs 101 yards over the final two games to record an eighth consecutive 1,000-yard campaign to begin his career.
Tampa Bay, meanwhile, begins Week 17 as the NFC's No. 4 seed despite being tied for the conference's second-best record at 11-4.
