Ravens' Huntley to start must-win game vs. Steelers
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley will start Week 18 against the Pittsburgh Steelers as Lamar Jackson continues to nurse an ankle injury, head coach John Harbaugh announced Friday.
The Ravens, who have lost five in a row, must defeat the Steelers to have any chance at squeaking into the playoffs. The Steelers also need a win to have a shot at getting in.
Huntley will start for the third time in four weeks since Jackson sprained his ankle. He missed one game while on the COVID-19 list, prompting Josh Johnson to fill in.
The 23-year-old Huntley has appeared in six games this season, throwing for 940 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions while completing 67.5% of his passes. He's added a pair of scores on the ground.
Baltimore began the season 8-3, but a series of injuries has the team dangling from the playoff picture by a thread entering the final week of the regular season.
