San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa has cleared concussion protocols and will play in Saturday's matchup against the Green Bay Packers, the team announced Friday.
Bosa suffered a concussion during the first half of San Francisco's 23-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card round and didn't return to the game.
The defensive end's 2020 season was cut short due to a torn ACL, but he returned to Pro Bowl form for San Francisco in 2021.
During the regular season, Bosa tallied 40 solo tackles, four forced fumbles, and 15.5 sacks - the fourth-most in the NFL. He had one tackle and 0.5 sacks in one half against Dallas before exiting with the injury.
