NFL combine - Day 3: Georgia's Davis, Walker dazzle in 40-yard dash
Georgia's Jordan Davis stole the show Saturday as defensive linemen and linebackers took the field on Day 3 of the NFL Scouting Combine.
The 6-foot-6, 341-pound prospect posted a stunning 4.78 official time in the 40-yard dash - the fastest for a combine participant 330 pounds or heavier since 2006, according to ESPN's Jeff Legwold. Davis finished his day with a 32-inch vertical leap and a broad jump of 10 feet and 3 inches.

The North Carolina native racked up 32 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss during Georgia's national title run.

Travon Walker, another member of the 2021 national champion, also dominated Saturday's workouts. He posted a 35.5-inch vertical leap and a broad jump of 10 feet and 3 inches. The 6-foot-5, 272-pounder capped the showcase with a 4.51-second 40-yard dash and 6.89-second three-cone drill.

Michigan's Aidan Hutchinson produced an impressive overall showing. The Heisman Trophy finalist displayed his athleticism with a 36-inch vertical leap and a broad jump of 9 feet and 9 inches. He posted a 6.73-second three-cone drill, 4.15-second 20-yard shuttle, and 4.74 official time in the 40-yard dash.

Kayvon Thibodeaux posted 27 reps on the bench press and ran a 4.58 official time in the 40-yard dash. The two-time first-team All-Pac-12 defender didn't participate in on-field drills, instead opting to wait until Oregon's pro day.

Amare Barno set a new combine record for defensive linemen, clocking a 4.36 official time in the 40-yard dash. The former Virginia Tech star posted the fastest run by a defensive lineman since 2003.
