Raiders sign Crosby to 4-year, $95M extension
The Las Vegas Raiders signed defensive end Maxx Crosby to a multi-year extension, the team announced Friday.
The contract is for four years and worth $95 million including $53 million guaranteed, Crosby's representatives told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
"Maxx Crosby exemplifies the characteristics of a Raider," head coach Josh McDaniels said in a statement. "His work ethic and leadership are unmatched and we're thrilled that he will continue to be an important part of this organization for years to come."
The 24-year-old pass-rusher racked up 56 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and eight sacks in 2021, earning the first Pro Bowl nod of his career.
The Raiders selected the Texas native in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He will play his first year under new defensive coordinator Patrick Graham this upcoming season.
