The Atlanta Falcons are signing cornerback Casey Hayward to a two-year, $11-million contract, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The two-time Pro Bowler spent the 2021 season as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders.
A second-round selection of the Green Bay Packers in 2012, Hayward spent the first four years of his career with the NFC North squad before playing the next four seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Hayward racked up 24 interceptions and 109 passes deflected over 146 career games.
The Falcons add a veteran presence to the secondary to go along with budding star A.J. Terrell. Atlanta is aiming to replenish its depth at the position with Isaiah Oliver and Fabian Moreau both unrestricted free agents.
