Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady managed to fend off Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald for the top spot on the NFL 100.

Brady becomes the first player to be ranked No. 1 on four separate occasions (2011, 2017, 2018, 2022) on the NFL Network list since its introduction in 2011.

The top 100 rankings are voted on by the players.

Brady is among six passers to earn the title; Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was last year's top-rated player.

The future Hall of Fame passer led the league with 5,316 passing yards and 43 touchdowns at the age of 44 during the 2021 season. Brady finished second in the league MVP voting behind Green Bay Packers passer Aaron Rodgers last year. Despite being named NFL MVP in back-to-back seasons, Rodgers was voted third in the rankings for a second straight year.

Rams wide receiver and reigning Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp was voted the fourth-ranked player after leading the NFL with 145 receptions, 1,947 receiving yards, and 16 touchdowns.

Donald was previously named the league's top player in the 2019 edition of the rankings. He's only one of two defensive players to earn the No. 1 ranking alongside J.J. Watt.

Here's the complete top 10:
