The Tennessee Titans announced Friday that they agreed to a three-year contract extension with safety Amani Hooker. The deal is worth over $33 million, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Hooker was drafted in the fourth round in 2019 and has played in 44 games over his three-year tenure with the team.
The 24-year-old emerged as a starter last season but only played in 12 games after being placed on injured reserve with a foot injury in Week 1. He was activated before Week 6 and finished the campaign with 62 tackles and one interception.
The Titans now have both their starting safeties locked up to long-term contacts, as they signed star safety Kevin Byard to a five-year deal in 2019.
