Leonard, Pierce ruled out vs. Jags; Buckner, Pittman questionable
The Indianapolis Colts have ruled out linebacker Shaquille Leonard and rookie wide receiver Alec Pierce for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Defensive lineman DeForest Buckner and wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. are listed as questionable.
Leonard told reporters Thursday he was "feeling better than last week" but was noncommittal about playing Sunday. He had back surgery this offseason.
Pierce, who started feeling concussion symptoms after the Colts' Week 1 game against the Houston Texans, couldn't clear the concussion protocol, according to Stephen Holder of ESPN.
Pittman felt pain in his quad Wednesday, and the team doesn't know where the injury originated, Holder adds.
Buckner, meanwhile, has a good chance of playing Sunday, according to Zak Keefer of The Athletic.
