The Miami Dolphins are sending some mixed messages about their locker-room Ping-Pong table.

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday that wide receiver Tyreek Hill and the rest of the team's captains voted to remove the table to eliminate distraction amid the club's two-game losing streak.

"They, collectively, as a group of players, wanted more time investment during the week on their jobs for Sunday," he said. "So instead of just saying it, they did something about it. And that's the whole reason that I really have a lot of love for those guys."

But Hill said Thursday the team is replacing the table with a new Dolphins-inspired design because the current one is bent, according to David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

The division-rival Buffalo Bills removed their own Ping-Pong tables after hiring head coach Sean McDermott in 2017.

Miami (3-2) will look to halt its skid when it hosts the Minnesota Vikings (4-1) in Week 6 action on Sunday.
