Report: Broncos receiving trade interest for Chubb, Jeudy
The Denver Broncos have been fielding multiple trade inquiries regarding pass-rusher Bradley Chubb and wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Prospective teams don't believe the Broncos will sell low in any potential trades before the Nov. 1 trade deadline, Schefter reports.
Additionally, the Broncos are reportedly open to listen to offers for tight end Albert Okwuegbunam.
Chubb, 26, is entering the final year of his rookie contract with Denver. He has racked up 20 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and four tackles for loss through six games this season. He missed all but seven games last season due to an ankle issue. The Broncos exercised the $12.716-million fifth-year option in his contract in April 2021 for this season.
Jeudy, who's currently in his third campaign with the Broncos, has struggled to live up to his first-round draft pick expectations since he was selected in 2020. He hasn't surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in a single season and enters Week 7 with 17 receptions for 290 yards and two touchdowns.
Similar to Jeudy, Hamler has also struggled to have a significant impact in Denver in his third year with the franchise.
The Broncos could be motivated to make a deal before the deadline due to the lack of draft capital they have in the coming years. The team dealt two first-round selections and a pair of second-round picks to the Seattle Seahawks to acquire quarterback Russell Wilson this past offseason.
Wilson's addition hasn't worked out through six games, as the Broncos currently hold a 2-4 record. Denver will host the New York Jets on Sunday.
