Chase questionable, Mixon ruled out vs. Titans
The Cincinnati Bengals could get one of their stars back on the field Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, but they will also have to play without another.
Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is listed as questionable ahead of the team's Week 12 matchup, head coach Zac Taylor said Friday, according to Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Chase, who's working his way back from a hip injury, has not suited up since the Bengals' Week 7 contest against the Atlanta Falcons. Taylor added that the second-year wideout "had a good week" as a limited participant in practice.
Meanwhile, running back Joe Mixon will not be available Sunday as he continues to deal with a concussion. He leads the team with 605 rushing yards and six scores on the ground.
Chase reeled in 47 receptions, 605 yards, and a team-leading six touchdowns prior to being sidelined.
The LSU product enjoyed a breakout campaign last season, racking up an astounding 81 catches for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns. Chase was named Offensive Rookie of the Year and was key to the Bengals' berth in Super Bowl LVI.
With Mixon out of the lineup, Samaje Perine and Chris Evans could get more playing time.
