Ravens' Dobbins, Williams set to return vs. Steelers
The Baltimore Ravens activated running back J.K. Dobbins and safety Marcus Williams off injured reserve for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team announced Saturday.
Dobbins underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in October and was placed on injured reserve. He missed the last six games.
The 23-year-old has battled injuries since being drafted in the second round in 2020.
He missed the entirety of the 2021 season with a torn ACL and missed the Ravens' first two games of this season with a knee injury before undergoing surgery.
Meanwhile, Williams returns to the active roster for the first time since suffering a broken wrist in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Baltimore signed the veteran defensive back to a five-year, $70-million contract during free agency in March.
Williams racked up 33 tackles and three interceptions in five games prior to the injury.
In a corresponding move, the team waived running back Mike Davis and placed cornerback Daryl Worley on injured reserve. The 29-year-old Davis signed with the Ravens in May. He has eight carries for 18 yards this season.
