The Los Angeles Rams would like to keep quarterback Baker Mayfield, sources told Jordan Schultz, theScore's NFL insider.

Mayfield is expected to garner interest in free agency, with the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers as potential suitors, per Schultz.

The Rams claimed the former first overall pick off waivers in December after he was released by the Carolina Panthers. Mayfield only started six games with Carolina, going 1-5 with six touchdowns and six interceptions.

Mayfield led the Rams to a win over the Las Vegas Raiders in his first game with the team, leading the offense on a 98-yard game-winning drive with no timeouts and 1:45 remaining. He started four games with Los Angeles, throwing for 850 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions.
