Falcons sign Lindstrom to 5-year extension reportedly worth $105M
The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to a five-year contract extension with offensive guard Chris Lindstrom, the team announced Monday.
Lindstrom's new deal is worth $105 million with $63 million fully guaranteed, according to the MMQB's Albert Breer, making him the highest-paid guard in the NFL.
Indianapolis Colts guard Quenton Nelson previously held the record at the position after signing a four-year, $80-million contract last year.
Lindstrom, 26, started all 17 games during the 2022 campaign. The Boston College product earned his first Pro Bowl nod and was named a second-team All-Pro last season.
Atlanta opted to reward Lindstrom after picking up the fifth-year option on his rookie contract last May. He was set to account for just over $13 million in base salary during the 2023 season before inking his new deal.
