Retired WR Brandon Marshall makes pitch to join Rodgers on Jets
Aaron Rodgers' arrival in New York has one former Jets player ready to come out of retirement.
Six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who co-hosts the "I Am Athlete" podcast, delivered a pitch to the Jets on Thursday, outlining what he would bring to the team if they signed him to play tight end.
"Here's why I'll be ready if I get the call to come back as a New York Jet at tight end," Marshall said. "We're gonna win the Super Bowl. I'mma be able to contribute at a high level. And this is what I'mma give you: 45 catches throughout the year, 20-to-30 plays a game, and I'mma give you eight touchdowns."
