Eagles sign Myles Jack, Zach Cunningham to reported 1-year, $2.5M deals
The Philadelphia Eagles are signing free-agent linebackers Zach Cunningham and Myles Jack to one-year contracts, the team announced Sunday.
Both contracts are worth up to $2.5 million, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Jack spent last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers after playing the previous six campaigns with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 27-year-old led Pittsburgh in tackles last season with 104.
He has eclipsed 100 tackles in four of his last five seasons and was a second-round pick of the Jaguars in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Cunningham played six games for the Tennessee Titans last season. He was placed on injured reserve in November and only played in one contest for the remainder of the year.
The 27-year-old was claimed off waivers by the Titans in 2021. He spent the previous four seasons with the Houston Texans and had a spectacular 2020 campaign, racking up 164 tackles and seven tackles for loss. He was a second-round pick of the Texans in the 2017 draft.
Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean has missed the last two practices with an ankle injury but is expected to be back soon, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Christian Elliss, Nicholas Morrow, Shaun Bradley, and Ben VanSumeren are the other linebackers on the Eagles' depth chart.
