Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson flashed his playmaking ability in his first NFL action, making an impact on the ground and through the air in his brief preseason debut.

The Texas product got off to a hot start against the Cincinnati Bengals, exploding out of the backfield and juking defenders for a 13-yard run on his first carry.

Robinson wasn't done there. He later hauled in a poor throw from quarterback Desmond Ridder with one hand to put the Falcons at the 10-yard line.

"(The game) certainly didn't look too big for him," Falcons head coach Arthur Smith said, according to team reporter Scott Bair.

Robinson, 21, didn't return to the field after the Falcons' opening series, finishing with 26 yards on five touches.

"Bijan showed up a couple of times there," Ridder said after the game.

He added: "He said he felt comfortable. He's out there doing what he does. Just get the ball in his hands, and just let him go."

Atlanta selected Robinson eighth overall in the 2023 draft. He racked up 3,410 rushing yards on 543 carries with 33 touchdowns in three years at Texas.
