Wisconsin bar offering free drinks when Rodgers loses this season
A loss for Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets could result in a lot of free drinks at one bar in Wisconsin.
Jack's American Pub, located in Milwaukee, is promising to cover customers' bar tabs every time the former Green Bay Packers quarterback starts and the Jets lose this season, according to Christian D'Andrea of USA Today Sports.
The promotion does come with some stipulations, though. Tabs must be opened at least 15 minutes before kickoff (food isn't included) and customers have to stay for the entire game to have their drinks covered. The Jets matchup also can't coincide with a Packers game which, as D'Andrea notes, will only happen four times this season.
Rodgers led the Jets to a 32-24 victory over the New York Giants in his preseason debut with his new team, completing five of eight pass attempts for 47 yards and a touchdown.
The Jets open the regular season on Sept. 11 with a Monday Night Football matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
