Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson is expected to be out for "a few weeks" after suffering a hamstring injury in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Johnson exited the game in the third quarter after getting hurt attempting to cut inside on a 26-yard catch-and-run. He finished with three catches on six targets for 48 yards.

The loss of Johnson is another blow for a Steelers offense reeling from a poor performance in the 30-7 blowout Week 1 defeat.

Following an offseason full of hype, Pittsburgh had its first five drives end with four three-and-outs and one interception. Kenny Pickett threw a touchdown to Pat Freiermuth to end the first half and cut the deficit to 20-7, but the Steelers failed to score for the remainder of the game.

With Johnson sidelined, Allen Robinson II and Calvin Austin III are in line for bigger roles behind George Pickens Jr.

The Steelers also lost defensive tackle Cameron Heyward to a groin injury that'll reportedly require him to go on injured reserve, which mandates a four-game absence.
