Carolina Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn is expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Horn limped off the field late in the second quarter and did not return. He was originally listed as doubtful but was downgraded to out later in the game.

Cornerback CJ Henderson served as Horn's primary replacement, as he played in 62% of the snaps in the Panthers' Week 1 loss. Troy Hill also saw increased playing time, as he was on the field for 16 snaps.

Horn has struggled to stay healthy since entering the NFL as a first-round pick in 2021. The 23-year-old suffered a broken foot that ended his rookie campaign after just three games. He also battled a chest injury last year that forced him to miss multiple games.

The South Carolina product has eight passes defended and four interceptions in 17 career games.
