Texans' Watt thinks girls are a distraction from football
J.J. Watt's intense focus on football doesn't allow him time for a girlfriend.
The Houston Texans defensive end revealed his obsession with football in a recent interview with CBS Sports and his lack of a social life as a result of it.
“I know that I have probably an 8-to-10 year window in this league, and if I want to be what I say I want to be, then I have to commit myself 100 percent. That’s why I don’t have a girlfriend, because I give my life to this game and I want to be the best in this game, and I know it takes an unbelievable commitment.”
Watt was named AFC Defensive Player of the Year last season after amassing a league-high 20.5 sacks.
