Chiefs' Kelce: Win vs. Bears in front of Taylor Swift a 'game I'll remember'
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce won't soon forget the team's 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears with pop star Taylor Swift cheering him on at Arrowhead Stadium.
"To see the slow-motion chest bumps, to see the high-fives with Mom, to see how Chiefs Kingdom was all excited that she was there. That shit was absolutely hysterical," Kelce said on Wednesday's episode of the "New Heights" podcast.
Kelce invited Swift to watch the team play, and she took in Sunday's game with Kelce's mom in his personal suite.
"Shoutout to Taylor for pulling up," Kelce said. "That was pretty ballsy. ...
"I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her. She looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in a great light. And on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans."
He added, "It's definitely a game I'll remember, that's for damn sure."
Kansas City was up 34-0 at halftime, and Kelce hauled in a 3-yard touchdown from quarterback Patrick Mahomes to extend the lead to 41-0 midway through the third quarter. The 33-year-old finished the game with a team-leading seven receptions for 69 yards and one score.
Kelce and Swift left the game together in his convertible.
The Chiefs will take on the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football in Week 4.
