New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson doesn't want Jets fans to give up on the team despite a tough start to the season.

"I would just tell them to stick with us," Wilson said, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

"No one wants this more than us. We're working every single day to make sure that y'all have a lot to root for on Sundays."

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles on the Jets' first offensive drive of the year, and the Jets fell to 1-2 with Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots. They have now lost back-to-back games with Zach Wilson starting at quarterback.

"Our whole season had a big change in it (16) days ago. And then for us that was a big adjustment," Garrett Wilson said.

He added: "We're still figuring it out offensively, and it's not just for us to put one dude on the dartboard, you know. You got to put that whole offense on the dartboard because none of us are playing to our standard right now."

New York has 386 yards of offense in its last two games. The team signed quarterback Trevor Siemian to the practice squad Tuesday.

The Jets will face off against the Kanas City Chiefs on Sunday night.
