Saints' Carr questionable vs. Bucs with shoulder injury
New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr is questionable for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a sprained AC joint, head coach Dennis Allen announced Friday.
"We'll see where he's at tomorrow and go from there," said Allen.
Carr was officially listed as limited in practice but looked healthy during the session:
Looks like Derek Carr has a very real shot at starting. Looked sharp throwing passes today. Led the first-team offense. Had good velocity. Accurate. Threw downfield during routes on air. Sharp in red zone. Saw nothing that appeared limiting.

Allen said Monday that Carr was week-to-week after being injured in the Week 3 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Carr avoided what initially appeared to be a serious injury after taking a big hit and landing hard on his shoulder in the third quarter against the Packers. Jameis Winston took over for Carr and would start against the Buccaneers if the 32-year-old is unable to suit up.
Carr has completed 65.5% of his passes for 636 yards and two touchdowns against two interceptions since signing as a free agent this past offseason.
The Saints will be without guard Cesar Ruiz (concussion), safety Jordan Howden (finger), and cornerback Paulson Adebo (hamstring) in Week 4.
