Report: Clark, Jeudy, Sutton trade candidates if Broncos' struggles continue
If the Denver Broncos' disappointing season continues Sunday against the New York Jets, a fire sale could be on the horizon.
After trading linebacker Randy Gregory to the San Francisco 49ers on Friday, the Broncos could look to move fellow pass-rusher Frank Clark, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Clark is reportedly expected to garner increased interest if he plays in his likely return from a hip injury versus the Jets.
Wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton are also expected to receive trade interest ahead of the Oct. 31 trade deadline, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Both Jeudy and Sutton were trade candidates last year amid Denver's struggles in Russell Wilson's first season.
The Broncos - who've started the season 1-3 - would reportedly be willing to listen to trade interest in almost any player on the defensive side.
Clark joined Denver on a one-year, $5.45-million deal this past offseason. He's an attractive option as a team trading for him would only inherit what's left of a $1.21-million base salary after Denver paid $4.2 million as a signing bonus, adds Rapoport.
