Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce says Patrick Mahomes' list of career achievements could eventually match those of Tom Brady.

Kelce was asked on Wednesday's episode of the "I AM ATHLETE" podcast if he thinks Mahomes will eclipse Brady as the greatest quarterback of all time. He noted that he has "all the respect" for Brady but said Mahomes could catch up to the future Hall of Famer.

"(Mahomes) has an ability to find a way to get things done even when it breaks down, or he's got to make this crazy throw across the field, and that's just something you haven't seen in the NFL. And he's been doing it since his first snap, and I think he's gonna play a long, long time," Kelce said. "So I think he'll catch him in all the accolades.

"But I think the biggest thing is always going to be those Super Bowls. That's a lot of Super Bowls."

Brady won seven Super Bowls and five Super Bowl MVP awards in his 23 seasons, both NFL records. Mahomes, meanwhile, has led the Chiefs to two Super Bowl titles in his first seven seasons.

Through seven games this season, Mahomes has completed 69.5% of his passes for 2,017 yards with 15 touchdowns and six interceptions.
