NFL MVP odds update: Can Stroud pull off historic feat?
The Houston Texans seem to have found their quarterback of the future.
C.J. Stroud continued his impressive rookie campaign by leading a game-winning drive on the road over Joe Burrow and the Bengals on Sunday.
Stroud's now thrown for 2,626 yards, 15 touchdowns, and only two interceptions this year.
As a result, the former Ohio State standout is running away with the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. He's priced at -2500 to claim the honor, which equates to an implied probability of 96.2%.
Stroud is now garnering attention in the MVP market thanks to his sensational play and the Texans' surprising 5-4 record.

Stroud is +2500 (3.8% implied probability) to become the first rookie to win the MVP award since Jim Brown did so in 1957. He'd become the first-ever quarterback to pull off the feat if he can vault a list of the league's biggest stars.
His odds of winning MVP have shortened drastically over the past two months. Stroud was +7500 prior to Week 10 and +25000 (bet $10, win $2,500) on Sept. 25.
However, he has no shot at the award if his Texans don't make the playoffs. They're currently +110 to punch their ticket to the postseason. Their remaining schedule is on the easier side, though, with only two of eight games against teams with a winning record.
Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, and Lamar Jackson - three quarterbacks leading teams in consideration for the best in the league - top the betting board. But no one has truly separated themselves from the pack, which could be the perfect recipe for Stroud to make history.
