Chiefs' Pacheco, Smith out for Bills game
Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco and left tackle Donovan Smith will miss Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Pacheco is dealing with a shoulder injury, while Smith has a neck ailment.
The Chiefs will also be without linebacker Drue Tranquill (concussion) and safety Bryan Cook (ankle).
Head coach Andy Reid was noncommittal when asked if Pacheco or Cook could be placed on injured reserve, Pete Sweeney of Arrowhead Pride reports.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire should step in for Pacheco. Rookie Wanya Morris is in line to replace Smith.
Pacheco is fifth in the NFL with 779 rushing yards and has six touchdowns.
The 8-4 Chiefs are looking to reignite their pursuit of the AFC's No. 1 seed after dropping two of their last three games.
