Jerry Jones thoroughly enjoyed watching the Seattle Seahawks score a late touchdown to beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.

The Dallas Cowboys owner told 105.3 The Fan's "Shan and RJ" show Tuesday that he was so excited over the result that he had a hard time falling asleep afterward.

"It was marvelous. I watched every bit of it," Jones said. "I thought I was about to doze, then when they made those two exciting plays I couldn't sleep until four this morning because of the impact that it can have on our year and our season."

The Cowboys were defeated 31-10 by the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, but thanks to the Eagles' loss, they remain in first place in the NFC East at 10-4 and hold the No. 2 seed in the playoffs.

The Eagles also sit 10-4 on the season and currently occupy the No. 5 seed.
