Broncos lose Sutton to head injury on SNF

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton suffered a head injury on Sunday Night Football against the New England Patriots and was ruled out in the second half.
Sutton sustained the injury in the first half. He underwent a concussion evaluation after his head smacked against the ground on an incomplete pass near the sideline in a one-on-one situation with Patriots defender Myles Bryant.
Sutton entered Week 16 leading the Broncos in receiving with 770 yards and 10 touchdowns. The former Pro Bowler has made several highlight-reel catches this season to help Denver insert itself into the playoff race.
The 28-year-old failed to record a catch against New England prior to suffering the head injury.
