Titans' Levis suffers foot injury in loss vs. Texans
Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis left Sunday's 26-3 loss against the Houston Texans after sustaining a foot injury.
Levis appeared to suffer the injury on a sack from Jerry Hughes in the second quarter. He managed to walk off the field under his own power.
Ryan Tannehill took over at quarterback, and the Titans listed Levis as questionable to return but downgraded him to out after halftime.
Levis dealt with an ankle injury before the game but was a full participant in practices leading up to Sunday's matchup. The 2023 second-rounder missed the Titans' loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 16.
The Kentucky product completed two of his six pass attempts for 16 yards before leaving Sunday's contest.
The Titans have posted a 3-5 record with Levis as a starter in his rookie campaign. He entered Week 17 with 1,792 passing yards, eight touchdowns, four interceptions, and a 59% completion rate.
