Beckham: Ravens the best NFL team I've ever been on
The Baltimore Ravens arguably cemented their status as Super Bowl favorites after demolishing the San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins in consecutive weeks, and receiver Odell Beckham Jr. went even further in his praise for his club.
"This is the best team I've been on in the NFL ever in my life," said Beckham after Baltimore's 56-19 win Sunday over Miami, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.
The Ravens secured the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage through the AFC playoffs with their 13th victory of the season. Star quarterback Lamar Jackson also all but secured his second MVP award after throwing for five touchdowns and finishing with a perfect passer rating.
Baltimore is the first team in NFL history to win back-to-back regular-season games by 10-plus points against 11-win teams, according to CBS.
Beckham, who joined the Ravens as a free agent this offseason, was part of the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl-winning squad during the 2021 season.
The veteran wideout only had one catch against Miami as Jackson spread the wealth, but he turned back the clock for a wild 33-yard grab.
The Ravens will finish the regular season against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18 and could sit many of their stars in preparation for the postseason.
