Jaguars' Lawrence to start Week 18 vs. Titans; Kirk inactive
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is active and set to start the team's season finale against the Tennessee Titans.
Lawrence was considered a game-time decision due to shoulder and finger injuries.
The 24-year-old Lawrence suffered the ailments in the club's Week 16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was forced to miss last week's contest. He was a limited participant in all three Jaguars practices leading up to the season finale.
Wide receiver Christian Kirk hasn't fully recovered from his groin ailment and is inactive. He was activated off injured reserve Saturday and was listed as questionable.
Lawrence is 8-7 in 15 starts this season, throwing for 3,736 yards with 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Jacksonville needs a victory over the Titans to secure the AFC South title. The Jaguars will be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss.
