NFL Playoffs futures betting: Looking for value in player prop markets
More postseason-long player prop markets come with Wild Card Weekend. In most cases, you'll need the player you've backed to suit up at least three games. That means players on the Ravens and 49ers have to get to the Super Bowl, while others in action this week have to win only two contests and perform well in a losing cause in the conference title game.
Passing leader odds
PLAYER | Most Pass Yards | Most Pass TDs |
---|---|---|
Dak Prescott | +300 | +325 |
Josh Allen | +400 | +450 |
Brock Purdy | +500 | +550 |
Lamar Jackson | +850 | +900 |
Patrick Mahomes | +850 | +700 |

Baker Mayfield | +2000 | +1800 |
CJ Stroud | +2000 | +1600 |
Jalen Hurts | +2000 | +1500 |
Jordan Love | +3500 | +2000 |
Mason Rudolph | +3500 | +4000 |
Passing yardage: Jared Goff (+1200)
2022 leader: 721 yards
Jared Goff has an indoor home game to start. If the Lions open with a win, they'll either go to Dallas - where they almost won three weeks ago - or get another home date against either the Buccaneers or the Eagles' shoddy pass defense. With two games in good passing conditions, Goff might get to 700 yards in a losing cause. A win in its second contest would put Detroit's third game in San Francisco for a matchup versus Brock Purdy (+500). The 49ers quarterback would only be playing in his second postseason contest and might have the Ravens' defense waiting in the Super Bowl.
Passing touchdowns: Dak Prescott (+325)
2022 leader: 7
The odds don't look so generous, but we're getting NFL touchdown pass leader Dak Prescott and the Cowboys when they know they'll host two home games before (potentially) heading to San Francisco for their best chance to knock off the 49ers.

Isaiah Likely | +5000 | +1400 |
Receiving yardage: Brandon Aiyuk (+900), Cooper Kupp (+5000)
2022 leader: 257 yards
One way to lead this category without playing a third contest is to have one massive yardage performance in a win and a solid second game in a loss. If the Rams knock off the Lions and L.A.'s finish to the regular season was just a hint that it's very good and capable of competing with the 49ers, Cooper Kupp at 50-1 odds is a fun long-shot look. Otherwise, the likelihood of three games for the 49ers' leading receiver is too high to pass on Brandon Aiyuk at +900.
Receiving touchdowns: Amon-Ra St. Brown (+1300)
2022 leader: 4
Here's a list of players who recorded more than eight receiving touchdowns in the regular season and whose team is favored to win its first playoff game:
- CeeDee Lamb (+550)
- Amon-Ra St. Brown (+1300)
Add in potential receiving touchdowns that normally go to Sam LaPorta, and we'll take our chances with the player at longer odds.

Jalen Hurts | +10000 | +900 |
Rushing yardage: Isiah Pacheco (+1200), Aaron Jones (+5000)
2022 leader: 238 yards
Christian McCaffrey had 238 rushing yards last year, but getting to 200 yards would have done the trick. Who was in second place? Isiah Pacheco with 197.
Kansas City is favored Saturday in conditions that should mean high volume for Pacheco rushes. With a win, the Chiefs go to Buffalo, who, at 4.6 yards per carry allowed this season, can be run on. That sets up a third playoff game - likely at Baltimore. Also, Pacheco will have a game on McCaffrey if Kansas City can make the Super Bowl.
On the NFC side, Aaron Jones has 111 yards or more in his last three games. If the Packers upset the Cowboys, Jones might end up with over 200 yards in just two playoff contests. At 50-1, that's worth a few bucks.
Rushing touchdowns: Josh Allen (+500)
2022 leader: 5
Jalen Hurts had five rushing touchdowns last year, but second place had two scores, so three might be good enough.
Josh Allen became the Bills' goal-line back down the stretch with eight touchdowns in five games from Weeks 13-17. He could play Hurts' role for a team that could make a Super Bowl run.
