Rodgers: Current Bears roster 'almost good enough' to beat Packers

Aaron Rodgers may no longer play for the Green Bay Packers, but he's still entrenched in his former team's rivalry against the Chicago Bears.

On the latest episode of the "Pardon My Take" podcast, Rodgers offered the Bears a backhanded compliment while discussing rookie quarterback Caleb Williams and the rest of Chicago's roster.

"I like (D'Andre) Swift, I like (Keenan) Allen. I like the receiver from Washington (Rome Odunze), he's good. Oh and then of course, you still got DJ (Moore)," the New York Jets quarterback said. "I think that team is almost good enough to beat the Packers. Almost good enough."

The Bears haven't won against the Packers since the 2018 season and trail the all-time series 95-107-6. Rodgers himself owns a 24-5 career record against the Bears.

The first meeting between the Bears and Packers this season is set for Nov. 17.
