Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams takes offense to former NFL wideout DeSean Jackson's claim that Adams isn't "happy" in Las Vegas.

"In terms of me being upset or not being happy in this organization, it's just a bunch of BS that's just meant to throw everybody off and get clickbait," Adams said Wednesday, according to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez. "Everybody wants to see what Davante Adams got to say, and, you know, he's pissed off in Vegas. If I was pissed off, I mean, I wouldn't be here right now."

Adams added, "If it ain't from the horse's mouth, it's probably bullshit."

Jackson was asked about Adams' situation with the Raiders during an interview on "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" in August. Jackson, who played nine games with the Raiders in 2021, shared his opinion after seeing Adams' frustration in the Netflix series "Receiver," which covers the 2023 season. The three-time first-team All-Pro also missed time in OTAs and training camp this year to be with his wife for the birth of their son.

"This one's tough because me and Davante, we've talked, and man, I hate to do it ... like, 'Oh, DJax said this and said that.' But at the end of the day, he is unhappy," Jackson said.

The retired receiver said that things didn't go as planned for Adams, who caught passes from Aaron Rodgers with the Packers and then reunited with Fresno State teammate Derek Carr in Las Vegas. Carr was benched and then released, and the Raiders started Jimmy Garoppolo, Brian Hoyer, and Aidan O'Connell at quarterback in 2023.

"It just quite didn't work out. So now, I just don't think he's really that happy there," Jackson said.

Adams considered making a video to address Jackson's claims but didn't want to draw "attention" to the comments prior to being asked about them.

"At the end of the day, the facts are the facts and that is not a fact," Adams said. "I've probably spoken to DeSean Jackson maybe three or four times in my life, and I never had a conversation with him (about this), ever. And I put that on my kids. I've never spoken to him about anything."

Adams led the NFL with 14 touchdowns to go along with 1,516 yards in 2022, his first year in silver and black. His production dropped slightly last season; he recorded 1,144 yards and eight scores while averaging 11.1 yards per catch.

The six-time Pro Bowler will start to pursue his fifth consecutive 1,000-yard campaign when the Raiders open their season against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
