Report: Bears' Odunze considered week-to-week with MCL sprain
Chicago Bears rookie wideout Rome Odunze is considered week-to-week after sustaining an MCL sprain in Sunday's win against the Tennessee Titans, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
The 22-year-old was on the field for 43 of Chicago's 53 offensive snaps, recording one reception for 11 yards.
Head coach Matt Eberflus said the rookie receiver would undergo an MRI after Week 1 to examine his knee.
The Bears selected the Washington product with the ninth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. After helping the Huskies reach the National Championship Game in his final collegiate season, the Las Vegas native is now expected to be a weapon for fellow rookie Caleb Williams.
Chicago boasts one of the more dynamic pass-catching groups in the league with DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, and Cole Kmet headlining the receiving corps.
