Eagles' Brown expects to miss couple of weeks with hamstring injury
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown expects to miss a couple of weeks with a hamstring injury, he told Lisa Salters of ESPN, per Adam Schefter.
Brown was ruled out for Monday Night Football on Sunday after being listed as questionable. The 27-year-old appeared on the injury report as a limited participant in Friday's practice and did not participate on Saturday.
Head coach Nick Sirianni said Brown's hamstring got "a little tight" in Friday's practice, per Tim McManus of ESPN.
Brown will miss a regular-season contest for the first time since he joined the Eagles. He was available for the previous 35 games, totaling 199 catches, 3,071 yards, and 19 touchdowns in those contests.
The Eagles elevated wideout Parris Campbell from the practice squad on Monday.
