Jaguars mascot Jaxson DeVille gets pelted with paintballs after loss to Colts
There was a lot more on the line Sunday for Jacksonville than just a potential victory against the Indianapolis Colts. The Jaguars mascot Jaxson DeVille had a bet with the Colts mascot where the loser would be pelted with paintballs by the other.
The wrinkle here was that the number of paintballs fired would be equal to the total score. Since the Colts won the game 37-3, DeVille was subjected to 40 shots from 10 yards away.
Despite the obvious pain, DeVille showed remarkable bravery and some even feel quarterback Blaine Gabbert could take a lesson or two from the wounded mascot.
Mr. @JaxsonDeVille much less skittish in the face of flying projectiles than Blaine Gabbert.

DeVille is no stranger to losing bets to other mascots, as he was forced to dance around in a thong after a Week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
The lesson here is kids, don't rely on your team for victories when you root for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Something tells me this season is only going to get worse for DeVille the way the Jags are playing.
