Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons was carted to the locker room after sustaining an apparent leg injury in the fourth quarter of Thursday's 20-15 win over the New York Giants.

Parsons went down after a Giants offensive lineman rolled onto his leg late. The All-Pro defender was helped off the field and spent time in the blue medical tent before leaving the contest on a cart with his left shoe off.

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said postgame that he doesn't have any immediate updates on Parsons' injury, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic.

The 25-year-old was limping around the locker room but was seemingly optimistic about his injury.

"I'll be good," Parsons told quarterback Dak Prescott, per Machota.

Parsons - who finished in the top three for Defensive Player of the Year in each of his first three NFL seasons - recorded two tackles (one for loss) before leaving the game.

He also sustained a neck injury in the first half Thursday. He spent time on the sideline and missed a few plays but managed to return.
