Head coach Antonio Pierce ruled out wide receiver Davante Adams and tight end Michael Mayer for the Las Vegas Raiders' Week 4 game against the Cleveland Browns, according to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez.

The Raiders also aren't expected to have pass-rusher Maxx Crosby on Sunday. Pierce said Crosby will miss Week 4 on Friday. Las Vegas, however, officially listed him as doubtful for the matchup later Friday. The three-time Pro Bowler didn't practice at all this week.

Adams is dealing with a hamstring issue, while Crosby is nursing an ankle ailment. Mayer missed Thursday's practice with a personal tag that isn't injury related.

Adams leads the team with 27 targets, 18 receptions, 209 yards, and a touchdown this season. Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker will operate as the top receivers with Adams sidelined.

Crosby has tallied three sacks, five tackles for loss, and five quarterback hits through three games. The 27-year-old played through his injury last week but played 82% of the team's defensive snaps after logging a 100% snap share in Weeks 1 and 2. Last year's first-round pick, Tyree Wilson, is expected to see an increase in playing time against the Browns.

Mayer has played behind first-round selection Brock Bowers this season, recording four receptions for 21 yards. He's remained an important piece to the Raiders' offense despite the limited receiving production, playing 56% of offensive snaps.
