Titans' Levis will start vs. Colts
Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis is set to start on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, head coach Brian Callahan announced Friday.
Levis exited the team's Monday Night Football matchup in Week 4 with a shoulder injury.
Mason Rudolph filled in for Levis while the signal-caller remained on the sideline with a questionable designation. Tennessee defeated Miami 31-12 with Rudolph completing nine of 17 passes for 85 yards.
The 25-year-old was a full participant in practice all week and did some light throwing on Monday after resting during the team's bye week.
"He took every rep and made every throw in practice well," Callahan said Friday, according to Turron Davenport of ESPN. "It hasn't affected his practice or him throwing."
Levis is off to a rough start in his second season in the NFL. The Kentucky product ranks 27th in success rate and 31st in EPA/play among 31 quarterbacks who have taken 100 snaps this season, according to Ben Baldwin's database.
