Las Vegas Raiders players, including star pass-rusher Maxx Crosby, called out the coaching staff about the team's week-to-week process, sources told Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports.

The players' issues with the coaching staff include a lack of accountability and discipline as well as schedule inefficiencies during the week, according to Jones.

The meeting reportedly ended uncomfortably for all parties.

Head coach Antonio Pierce made sweeping changes to his coaching staff after the Week 9 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He fired offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, offensive line coach James Cregg, and quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello.

Pierce was hired this offseason after serving as the interim head coach following Josh McDaniel's dismissal. Pierce went 5-4 in nine games in 2023, and players publicly advocated for owner Mark Davis to retain Pierce as head coach.

Las Vegas is on a bye week after losing its fifth straight contest in Week 9. Quarterback Gardner Minshew was benched in-game for the second time this season. Minshew has struggled in 2024 after signing a two-year deal this offseason, throwing for 1,501 yards with six touchdowns and eight interceptions.

The Raiders rank dead last in EPA/play on offense. The defense has also struggled; after being a big reason why Las Vegas went 5-4 in its final nine games last season, Pierce's defense sits 23rd in success rate through nine weeks.
